Acoustic technology can detect low vacuum or pressure caused by defects
in containers.
How It Works
Acoustic technology measures vacuum or pressure in containers with metal closures that do not
have a measurable lid deflection. Acoustic technology uses non contact online inspection method.
When the container passes the sensor, the sensor emits magnetic pulse to the top of each
container. The lid will make a sound based on vacuum or pressure inside the container.
A microphone receives the sound and sends a signal to the DSP to analyze. The frequency of the
sound is measured and compared to user set limits. Containers outside the limits will be rejected.
Acoustic technology can completely replace the manual inspection method.
